one difference between cats and dogs is that dogs do absolutely nothing to mask their clinginess while cats pretend it’s a coincidence they’re in the same room as you 97% of the time

i’m pretty sure “cats and humans can never have a bond as strong as a dog and a human” is just code for “i’ve never even tried to treat a cat correctly in my life”
Also dogs are man-made to be loving towards us. We didn’t selectively breed cats the same as we did dogs. I’m 100% a dog person but with them it’s more of, “this tool that I use is also very cute and I’ve removed 96% of its ability to not love me” whereas with cats it’s more, “Ah yes, this is my roommate Craig. He’s very nice to me unless I ignore his wants and treat him like an asshole.”
Cats are the only animal that domesticated itself. The bond between cats and humans are on the cats’ terms, not ours.
i’ve been sick and depressed all weekend and my cat literally refused to leave my side
Finally, a cat appreciation post
SCIENCE HAS CONFIRMED THAT DOGS LOVE US BACK BECAUSE THEY GET THE SAME RUSH OF OXYTOCIN WHEN THEY LOOK AT US THAT WE GET WHEN WE LOOK AT THEM
Are you telling me that dogs are looking up to us and think “omg what an adorable fucking cutiepie”?
a while ago I read an article about how dogs love us back, but recognize that we’re different from them, while cats see us as bigger and clumsier than them, but do not consider us different
controversial opinion
dogs and cats are…….. both good……
This is bullshit. Dogs and cats are both GREAT

Some initial outfit/armor concepts for my fantasy Haikyuu au HERE ヽ(・∀・)ノ they’re all going to change later probably heh.
It was pretty challenging trying to get all of them to fit their mascot (or in this case, their kingdom’s deity haha), so it’s a bit sloppy but at least it was fun to do. And I totally copped out on drawing their head gear lol. I’ll do one for the royals next though (oikawa/goshiki/kenma/kageyama).
Some quick background on the designs below the cut, if you’re interested:
my favorite jokes
- when people pretend people wearing camo are invisible
- calling random animals “weird looking dogs”
- trolling beetles fans
- severely overestimating the number of clearly countable objects
- severely underestimating the size of something (you could fit five whole cars in space probably)
- Seeing a shocking image and exclaiming disbelief at minor background details around shocking image
- Everyone is in on a joke
incredibly inappropriate units or lack thereof (twelve sand, forty-five mph of cell phones)
sometimes i forget that dogs are animals descended from scary ass wild beasts that hunt and kill and shit like
my pug just farted so loud she scared herself and had to be cuddled until she stopped crying like how did this happen
